LARA UNLIMITED: NOT A REVIEW, BUT SERIOUS DRAGGING

rainsmedia59Reviews5 hours ago61 Views

I know this is 2026 and there are tons of movies and series being churned out across different platforms, all screaming, “Watch me! Watch me!” But I just can’t help voicing my disappointment. Call me insensitive or whatever. Today, AZUWA Studios and Arese Ugwu must hear me loud and clear!

Like we Yoruba people would say, na jeje i dey, minding my business sometime in 2025 after buying data, I was scrolling through YouTube when I stumbled on a trailer. Azuwa Studios had dropped a teaser for a solo Tony Tones project, my Lara to bad, to sexy—with a spin-off called Lara Unlimited.

To be honest, I wasn’t excited at first.

I kept asking myself, “I hope this won’t be a disaster.” Because what I was seriously yearning for was A Smart Money Woman Season 3. Why the detour?

But guess what?

I thought A Smart Money Woman was addictive. Ah! Lara Unlimited had me completely hooked. Every scene entered my bloodstream like I had been injected with something.

Was it Tony Tones’ sexy eyes and that subtle way she speaks English with attitude?

Or the fact that she’s dating a nepo baby with the body of a young Greek god, giving their relationship that sugar girl/sugar boy energy? I mean, Lara physically looks older than this handsome young bobo, but somehow they look perfect together.

Or was it the looming danger hanging over OASIS if Lara didn’t get what she wanted?

Or the chaos—proper sege metala—that Lara could unleash if she eventually starts her own company?

Oh, and did I mention that her boyfriend, played by Natse Jemide, wants them to move in together? Another source of endless relationship drama.

Then there’s her younger sister, whose dream of becoming a beauty and cosmetics influencer keeps clashing with Lara’s determination to see her secure a UK degree.

Too many storylines.

Too many unanswered questions.

Too many unfinished plots.

There is absolutely no reason Lara Unlimited should not have a Part 2.

AZUWA Studios, Arese Ugwu, Lara Unlimited was released in 2025. This is 2026. What exactly is going on?

Okay, maybe I should drop my ego and beg.

Please.

I have eaten enough breakfast from different girls in this life. Don’t join the list of people determined to serve me premium breakfast.

Release Part 2 abeg.

Maybe it was a promotional tactic or an experiment, but Lara Unlimited arrived at a time when tech gurus and content creators were curious about how far phone-based content creation could go. Lara Unlimited was shot on a Samsung Galaxy S25, and the project proves that a creative mind can turn any tool into an amazing work of art.

But back to my protest, i believe there are millions of Nigerians, both at home and abroad, who would love to see Lara Unlimited continue, especially now that YouTube has become an even bigger platform for filmmakers.

If you’re reading this and you’ve watched Lara Unlimited, join me in dragging AZUWA Studios and Arese Ugwu. Share this post. Tag them on social media. Make some noise.

And if you haven’t watched it yet, go and watch it first, then come back and join the struggle.

Lara Unlimited must continue.

The Summary

Lara Thompson, a high-performing oil executive with sharp style and sharper instincts, is primed for promotion—until her seat at the table is handed to a less qualified man. As she fights for her worth in a rigged system, her world erupts into a storm of betrayal, corporate corruption, and unexpected romance. Between boardroom battles, a budding romance with a former flame, and rising unrest in the communities her company exploits, Lara must decide: stay in the system and play the game, or burn it all down and rebuild on her own terms.
